Technology

So I don't know if it's something in my blood or if I just have a knack for technology to fail while I just happen to be around it.
1st my computer

Looks like a nice piece of technology but don't let it fool you. Take about 20 mins to start up. 20 mins to open the program you want. And must remain plugged into the wall at all times or it will die on you. lovely thing. Thank goodness Daniel's works! :)

2nd The Washer

Isn't this one a Beauty???? Seriously this washer has become my best friend. We had 2 previous but none of them came with a 2 year warranty. But really what do you expect from Kijiji? The first one we bought never had the chance to do its job. It just died. (probably when it saw all the clothes it would wash.) The second one was really a beauty. I mean front loader NICE! but sadly after only a month and a half it too decided it was done being a part of this Fyfe Family. So two days ago we bought this one. With warranties. I do believe it will last!

3rd Thelma- The car
Sadly I have no picture of this one. Knowing our luck with that car it would probably just die right away. Yes Thelma is the one that took us home for Christmas and then persisted on causing us much grief and pain. Even when we got back to Lloydminster. Even after a $104 repair bill the signal lights don't want to always work, the horn not one beep and the window washer fluid pump... nothing. Oh and she would probably like a new windshield sometime too. What can ya do? At least we have Stanley. My lovely Honda Civic! Now that's a good car! :)

4th the Microwave

Lovely Christmas gift. After 3 1/2 months of not having a microwave in the house we got one for Christmas..Well really we had to return the 1st one because you plugged it in and shut the door and it would turn on and start cooking. But we got another one that WORKS! :) :) Let me tell you. I LOVE IT! reheating food has never been quicker! Defrosting food never been easier. and Popcorn... well it's never tasted better!

So even though its a fight with technology for Daniel and I. We still keep trying to have it around. Go figure.
