How 'bout... CUPCAKES?!?!?!?!

So as some of you may know or have heard I have been craving chocolate like crazy!!! It's just borderline ridiculous! (Let's be honest though. I'm always wanting chocolate. Even when not developing a little human.)

I've managed to push this craving off and ignore it.

But the last week it's just been so strong!
(Before ya start gender guessing this happened with Sean boy too. We'll know soon enough!)

So, after dinner tonight Sean was being a cranky pants. He just didn't want to play anything. So I convinced him to make cupcakes with me!

It was pretty easy. All I said was "cupcakes?" And he responded with a smile and kuh-kake. Done deal.

So away we went. We both had a blast. Him probably more than me. But at least I can stuff my face with chocolate for the next few days!!

This kid definately needed a bath after this!!!

Yum!!!!

**for reference to the title YouTube it. It's an AFV video. My favorite!**

17 weeks

I guess I haven't posted much on this pregnancy besides saying we're pregnant!!

It's been going good. I love it now that am passed weeks 6-12.
Those were the worst. I got pretty nauseous and I couldn't make it through the day without napping! Luckily Sean still naps for 2 1/2 hours is so I got a good rest everyday!

But I have energy once again so much so I've been able to help out again downstairs with the basement! (We're almost done!!!) Sean keeps me on my toes now that he decided a to run everywhere and run away when he wants. This will be interesting in a few more months when I have to waddle behind. Oh joy!

I've started to feel baby move here and there in the last week or so. I'm excited for when he/she actually gets moving!
I'm also excited for finding out the gender in a few weeks! I'm super excited to know whether it's a boy or girl. I don't really have a Preference. Just a healthy chunky baby again please! And I wouldn't complain if my body didn't give out either! :)

Well that's all I have for now!
Here's the bump at 16 weeks!

Crazy Kid!

I just found I have some good pictures I need to share of Sean!
Here we go!

Sean and his cars! He loves them! I love when he just lays down like this and plays with them!

Helping us out downstairs! He takes a loose screw and "screws" in all the ones in the wall. Silly

Papa left his hat here one day and Sean insisted on wearing it everyday!

He loves dogs but how he figured this out I don't know. But this is how he ate breakfast the other day!

SOCK MAN!!!

Camera man! I had a mini heart attack. But he was so gentle. Serve me right for leaving it on the couch! Oops!

He thought he was so clever plugging his ears to ignore mom!

No explanation, but I love him.

What the Snow?

This was all on the ground this morning.
Sean didn't know what to think of it.
and didn't like touching it
maybe next time i'll put gloves on him.

It's not as cold as it was last night.

I can't believe it! Just a few days ago we were sleeping in a tent and now I have the heater on in my house and white stuff all over the ground. Wow.

Anyway lets show all the warm pictures first!

It was a super fun end of summer kick off camping trip with my parents and Tycy and Stefan.
We got to Tally Lake around 7 and set up our tent and then ate dinner. Tycy and Stefan showed up around 9 with their cute lil kids and hungry bellies. Luckily we still had food for them.

The kids were fasinated by the camp fire and staying up super late. Sean loved looking up and pointing to the "stas" (stars). That's right. I have a smart kid.

Saturday morning some of us woke up freezing. Mostly just Dan and Tycy and Stefan and their kids. Sean and I stayed pretty toasty thanks to warm sleeping bags and lots of blankets.

We got down to Tally Lake by 11 and stayed down their till 5 Seadoing and just bathing in the sun. Some of us got Sunburned!!! WOOT! Oh it felt like summer was just starting it was such a nice day! I want more days like that!

Dinner was delicious and then of course we huddled around the campfire making smores and laughing and talking. Greg even had the smart Idea of heating up rocks so that no one would freeze that night. And guess what??? It worked! Everyone was warm that night! Genius!

Sunday we packed up and drove home. It was super short but so much fun! The kids all had so much fun and were pretty sad to leave. Sean loved the outdoors and the freedom he had to explore and chase chipmunks. It made me wish we had gotten out camping more this summer. OH well next summer we shall. We won't have a basement that we are renovating then.!

Breakfast is always better camping!

Lloydminster Weekend

We decided to take a trip to Lloyd this weekend. How weird it was to be back "home" but not. It was a weird feeling. We did live their for three years though so I'm sure it'll take a while for vulcan to feel like home too.

We got to crash at Jen and Ian's. We probably could have slept somewhere different every night if we wanted. But... Sean probably wouldn't have liked that. Saturday we just chilled and for lunch I went and satisfied my taco del mar craving. Delicious.

After Sean woke up from his nap we went to kari and Barrett's for dinner where I got another pregnancy craving satisfied. Chicken N Rice. I even scored the recipe. Yes!!!! But that just means I'll have to make it myself now. Which is never as good.

After dinner we went to kitscoty and had a bonfire with more friends. Every one decided to come and visit this weekend too. Which made it fun and seem even more like home. Lots of kids were running around the yard. I think I need to be worried about mine. He was so content to play by himself. Haha he just pushed around a toy law mower the entire time.

What a kid.
We crashed Jen and Ian's hot tub when we got back. Best nights sleep ever!!!!

Sunday we went to church. So good to see everyone and talk to everyone. Sean even went to nursery. How wonderful! He had a good time. Who wouldn't though? Toys, kids, bubbles, snack. A recipe for a good time.
It felt like no time had passed. Except there were some new faces there that we didn't know. Typical though.

Sunday afternoon we all just lounged. Well the men had a nap and Jen made some pies. :) then there was a potluck with a very delicious roast and potatoes and potluck salads. Yum!

It was a good time visiting with everyone. Kids had a blast.

Lots of late nights this weekend. I'm looking to catching up on some sleep at home!!!

Watching dan shoot dinosaurs.

Quinn and Sean. Sean loved that chair. Haha and all the new toys and cars. I should probably buy the kid more cars so he has more than 2.

It was a fun trip!!! Even if I didn't get to see the Low's. Lameo!
