9 Months

He's been out as long as he's been in!!! (actually I guess hes been out a bit longer since he came a bit early. Whatever)

9 whole months. I can't believe it. The time is just flying with this little guy!

He's crawling and starting to pull himself up to stand on things. He has mastered one stair. Then he gets stuck and cries for help. The speed at which this guy is crawling though is faster and faster every day.
He slept through the night the other night. I was so excited that things were changing! But nope last night he got up once. Which is still better than before. I'll take it.

Food. He loves to feed himself! Hallelujiah! I just have to put it on his tray and he'll stuff his face! My first kid I actually get to eat warm food! haha He eats just about anything. He pretty much has no choice in that factor. He's learned if he doesn't eat his brothers will take it from him.
Still referred to as baby sweet cheeks or baby fat pants by Sean. I think those nicknames might stick for life. Sorry Evan.

He is slimming down a lot though. He still has the fatest thighs (those might be for life.. sorry dude) but his little baby cheeks are just melting away. :( bye bye baby pudge...

He brothers still adore him and are playing with him better now especially since he's been on the move. Max still tries to ride him....

I don't know what else to say. He's such a happy baby now! I'm glad we made it through those first 2 months that were super rough. He is so happy and easy going now. Smiles all day long and that baby laugh. GAH! its the best. It turns heads in stores. Man I love him. He came so much sooner than we planned but I can't picture what life would be like without him. He's just perfect.

Its so much harder now to take good pictures of him with his brothers running wildly around and wanting to be in them and with him being on the move! JEN I NEED YOU! :)

Christmas

I didn't get to blogging about our Christmas as soon as I would like. Life is pretty hectic with three rambunctious boys. I love to sit down and write about all they've done and that we've been up to but we get so caught up living in the moment. Which isn't a bad thing. But I still wanna document it so when my memory actually fails I can kinda remember. (Currently kids are screaming ... bah)

**One note I wanna make about this Christmas. As we were teaching Sean and telling him about Christmas and that we celebrate the day he was born and that Sean looked ever so thoughtful. And then he said to me We celebrate Jesus's birthday? Does that  mean we get cake? haha. I didn't have time this year but maybe next year we might just had to add cake to the party!**

The 23rd we opened the boys Christmas jammies and then went to the live Nativity. The boys really enjoyed it this year. More so I think for the donkey they saw. Saw was excited for it all but Max was excited about the Donkey. It was cute.

Christmas Eve we went out to Daniel's Parents place. They were having a dinner Christmas Day but after a crazy experience last year going out there and Sean being a crank pants and just the overwhelmingness of it all I didn't want to. Plus every year they've done Christmas day we're the only ones that show up. So I figured lets do Christmas Eve. It'll just be us but whatever. Well that Evening as we were getting ready to go I find out all Dan's brothers and families were making it out Christmas Day except for us. It was kinda maddening. If we had been told sooner we might have made something work so we could all be there. Maybe Next Christmas we'll try to have it more organized. blah.

Evan was kinda sick all through Christmas. Poor kid. Teething sure sucks.

The boys had fun playing and opening their gifts. I was surprised they played surprisingly well with each other. Made my life easier. It was fun a laid back which was nice. We didn't play any games though which was a bit of a bummer. Oh well.
We had chili wraps for lunch and shortly after Dan's grandparents came over and we helped his grandpa set up his new iphone he got.

We sat upstairs and visited and then they watched rudolph the red nose reindeer. The boys loved it. I sat down stairs and put evan for a nap and finished a book.

Dinner we just had lots of finger foods. which is always yummy but I always eat way to much. I was surprised though and wasn't fully loaded. I had room for the apple crisp Gerald made. SO GOOD! that topped me up. (so much for all my working out.)

We left after spending the day there and ran out to my Uncles place for the family gathering there. Sean got to be a shepherd in the nativity they do there and man did he make one cute shepherd. The boys were crazy but had so much fun. So did I talking and helping out. It was a good time.

My little Shepherd

Evan was the sheep.

Staring into the manger

We got home around 10:00 way later than I planned but it worked in our favor. Dropped the boys in bed and they were out like lights. Win!

Christmas Day

They slept in till 9:00! What a present! and Evan only woke up once in the night! Even better present! I showered before everyone was up which was another treat to shower in peace. What a day.
They woke up and we opened stockings and presents. Sean was so excited this year. "This is for ME? Thank YOU!" so cute. Max watched Sean and slowly caught on to the fun of it all. Evan enjoyed playing in the wrapping paper and with the boxes, Saved money this year. lol After we opened them all we told them we think there might be one more gift downstairs.. Sean looked at us weird and said hmmm and ran downstairs. Max and him tore off the paper and they started doing a happy dance when they saw the train table underneath. They love it! Which makes me happy.

We ate breakfast which of course consisted of bacon. And then we went to church at 11:30 came home and kids napped. We all relaxed. Dan started a chicken in the BBQ for dinner.

We had "beer butt" chicken and roasted potatoes and bacon wrapped asparagus. YUM! My parents dropped by. Them being the free empty nesters they are now. we played some games once the kids were in bed.

Boxing Day

we got out to my parents for the party there. But first we stopped by the school Gym to watch Sky play some BBall. It was fun. The boys sure loved it too. MAx really just wanted to get out there and play.

At the parents house we played games and visited while waiting for everyone to show up. There was some mix up as to what time everyone was coming. So we just waited for everyone before opening gifts. It made it more fun to all open and watch together. While we were waiting the parents had wrapped some small gifts up in wrapping paper that we had to unwrap while wearing oven mitts and a santa hat while the person next to us was rolling dice trying to get doubles. talk about pressure!

We had ham sandwhiches and varying sides for lunch. yummy yummy. I love having Ham. mixes it up from turkey for every other holiday.

Once eneryone was there we opened gifts. mostly consisted of all the kids "helping"
After that we let the kids go play/watch a movie downstairs while we played another game of unwrapping a saranwrapped ball full of small gifts with a bigger gift inside. Its pretty intense! Dan and I won one of the gift in the center which was the game splendor! So fun!

Greg got 2 versions of the game "watch your mouth" So we had to play. Its pretty fun. mostly ridiculous though.

We had a nerf war as well. I just hid behind my camera. I'm thinking next year we need to book the church and party it up there. Hey Mom? It would make an epic nerf war.

I'm always nervous when i take this picture. I mean.. whats stopping them from all firing at me?

This guy had a blast

It gets pretty intense

It was a good crazy Christmas.
