Fun times!

I feel like summer is in full swing.
Every weekend after this one coming up we have something going on. Either camping, reunion, town celebrations, more campimg, and more reunions.
It's exciting stuff.

We finally got our picture! haha we're cool like that! My little Spock baby!

Our Basement and Deck!

Well we started to put together our basement!!!
Daniel got his brothers and his Dad to come out on a Saturday and they went to town framing! And finished! It took a while to get started when they forgot the compressor in Lethbridge. Luckily we have some nice neighbors who had one that they were willing to lend out to us!
I'm sure they had a blast.
I left because there was just too much Fyfe Testosterone in my house. So I went to lethbridge to hang out with my SIL Janessa. We took all the kids to the splash park! Sean and water= Best friends! the kid had a blast!

Best thing about the day was coming home to a house that has been framed! It's happening folks!
Looking at the back of the house from the living room!

From the bottom of the stairs!

My future craft room!

Bathroom!
After we got the framing done I managed to talk Greg into coming out to do the electrical. It took a lot but was worth it. I mean I made him funeral potatoes, shrimp, asparagus, cherry turnovers, cinnamon buns, icecream and steak. What a meal.
Thanks Greg!
and mom.
and dani and sky!

Working hard

I'm so impressed my sisters know what to do!

Well that's the basement now. still have some electrical work to do so we can't start drywalling just yet. and we gotta move a few things around in the bathroom. but its coming!

Now for the deck

We used to have a small 10x10 deck. I guess thats not small. But it was just floating and there was a lot of wasted space. So we did this.

Its pretty fabulous!! The guy doing it is here today finishing the stairs and maybe making me a baby gate with the extra wood!!! :)
I'm loving our new house!!

Father's Are So Special

"Fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families." The Family: A Proclamation to the World.

That's a pretty heavy duty job when you think about it. It is a big calling to take on. But one men do proudly. The moment I first told Daniel I was pregnant with Sean his face just lite up. He was so excited. So thrilled to have someone to teach and have a little buddy to follow and watch him. He always told me how he couldn't wait for the day for a child to greet him at the door after a day of work. Well that day arrived a while ago. Every day when Dad come home for work Sean goes running " Da da da". It's a special part of my day as well. To see how much this little boy loves his Dad.

The real moment when I first saw this love was this:

The first time he got to hold Sean. It was a powerful moment. To hold something so precious and delicate and know that it's yours and your responsibility to provide and protect.

It was a moment of renewed love for me as well. Seeing my two boys together for the first time is a very precious and dear moment for me. It gives you a glimpse into heaven and Heavenly Father's love for each and every one of us.

Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us with out fail. He provides and protects each and every one of us. He loves when we come running to him. He loves to teach us and to see us follow the path he has laid for us.

It's a wonderful role he has given to Father's here on Earth. To provide and protect his precious sons and daughters. To exemplify Him and all that he does for us. It's a wonderful role for Father's to embrace.

Check out this video : Earthly Father, Heavenly Father.
(the video might not pop up right away so click on the title. It's worth it)

It'll make your Father's Day more special.
Happy Father's Day!

Vulcan

Everyone has heard about vulcan. I mean this town has a giant uss enterprise at the town entrance. Along with head cut offs so you can be Spock or Kirk or whomever out want!
But living a little longer in vulcan I've discovered a few other weird/strange/unique things.

-there are numerous trek murals throughout the town on the sides of buildings

-the water park has a uss enterprise that sprays water.

-apparently they wanna switch the street lights on Main Street into ufo's

-there is a bust of Lenord Nimoy in the town and a hand print!

And today I discovered this:
If you can't read it the rainbow sign above says transporter! Haha I always knew one existed somewhere!!

May Long Weekend Part 3-Sunday & Monday

So Sunday after Church we drove out to Raymond with all the excess cake from Sean's party. We stopped in Raymond at Daniel's grandma and grandpas where they fed us lunch and we got to visit. Sean even got to chase some puppies around. He sure loved that! We even were able to pawn off some cake on them! Woot! I love visiting with those guys!

Around 5 we headed out to Magrath to visit/eat with my family! My Grandparents were there too! I love those guys as well! Tycy and Stefan were still up visiting so we got to hang out with them!
We ran up to the school park where the kids could play and Greg and Dan and Stefan and the rest of us played some softball to see who would make the cut onto the Parker team for Magrath Days. I didn't make the cut. haha I'm okay with that. I'd rather watch the kids and hang out at the lawn mower races anyway! The kids had lots of fun and Sean got to stay up past his bedtime! haha

what cuties

so nice

walking with gma

dad at bat!

Monday we hung around the house for a while and then went over to the FCSS building to play with all the cool toys! They have this awesome little zipline which lands you right into a foam pit! It was AWESOME! I even went down. To bad Sean wasn't big enough or I woulda got him to do it too! Sean had a fun time just crawling into the foam pit and eating all the foam blocks! We temporarily lost his socks in there. But thanks to Aunt Becky we found them! whoof!!!
After all the fun there we went home to have a BBQ. Seriously a lot of food was ingested! It was crazy! Around 5:30 Dan and I packed up and headed into Lethbridge where we dropped Sean off with Stephen and Janessa and we got a date night! How awesome! We went to see Divergent! (AMAZING) and then went out for Appetizers/desserts. Sad day for Greg because there were no nachos. We hung out with Stephen and Janessa when we got back and Daniel even got up with Sean in the morning! WOOT WOOT!

Tuesday my Mom came in and gave Dan her Ipad and car so he could run around and get quotes about building supplies for the basement while we went out and spent money! haha Oh the fun! I got some things to start doing some crafting around here while Sean naps. haha Once I catch up with all my blogging and house work though! tehe.

It was a wonderful long weekend! Lots of fun and food and Family!!! The best combinations! So glad that this weather is warmer so we can be out enjoying it as well!
I LOVE IT!
