Father's Are So Special

"Fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families." The Family: A Proclamation to the World.

That's a pretty heavy duty job when you think about it. It is a big calling to take on. But one men do proudly. The moment I first told Daniel I was pregnant with Sean his face just lite up. He was so excited. So thrilled to have someone to teach and have a little buddy to follow and watch him. He always told me how he couldn't wait for the day for a child to greet him at the door after a day of work. Well that day arrived a while ago. Every day when Dad come home for work Sean goes running " Da da da". It's a special part of my day as well. To see how much this little boy loves his Dad.

The real moment when I first saw this love was this:

The first time he got to hold Sean. It was a powerful moment. To hold something so precious and delicate and know that it's yours and your responsibility to provide and protect.

It was a moment of renewed love for me as well. Seeing my two boys together for the first time is a very precious and dear moment for me. It gives you a glimpse into heaven and Heavenly Father's love for each and every one of us.

Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us with out fail. He provides and protects each and every one of us. He loves when we come running to him. He loves to teach us and to see us follow the path he has laid for us.

It's a wonderful role he has given to Father's here on Earth. To provide and protect his precious sons and daughters. To exemplify Him and all that he does for us. It's a wonderful role for Father's to embrace.

Check out this video : Earthly Father, Heavenly Father.
(the video might not pop up right away so click on the title. It's worth it)

It'll make your Father's Day more special.
Happy Father's Day!
