April -May 2019

Guys I have fallen so behind on this blog! I'm going to do my best to catch up the few things that happened to us in 2019 so that I can begin bettter in 2020 and hopefully not fall so far behind!

So luckily i take lots of pictures. So prepare for picture updating!
We spend a lot of time when the weather is nice outside! All the boys can ride their bikes now so we did lots of bike rides to parks!
She doesn't often fall asleep in my arms anymore! I'm grateful my kids steal my phone and take pictures for me!
Found a fun new bike park here on the west side! The boys are always asking to go and ride their bikes! I'm pretty sure they wanna learn all the cool tricks and find more ways to give me grey hair.

 Playing in the garden boxes

We had appointments for Paige in Calgary over the same few days that Max needed to have new ear tubes put in. And it was all over Evan's Birthday so we made a trip outta it!
Max chillin. the darn kid had to eat a veggie straw just before we got to the hospital from Tony's house (2 min drive) and that pushed his surgery back 4 hours! It was brutal! He watched a lot of netflix and Dan got the joy of waiting with him! The older boys were in Emily's Backyard for a bit. It was a bit of a crazy day!

burning some time outside at the park. waiting for max to be released!
Happy as can be with his new "superman" ears.
We met up with Whitney and Colin and there kids and helped them celebrate Ravens Birthday! (She and Evan share the day!) the kids had fun playing with balloons, eating pizzza and cake and just running wild.
The next day we went to the Science Center. It was our first time being there and the boys LOVED it. Mostly they loved the area they have in the back thats for little kids and more hands on. But the whole place was a blast!

When we first got there the weather was kinda icky so i was really glad we picked the Science Center and not the zoo!

 Paige enjoyed crawling around!

Luckily the weather did warm up and we got to go explore outside! This giant slide was the boys favorite! I had to help Evan up but Sean and Max were able to just go go go!

 Bed of Nails.
 Drinking outta the toilet.

Paige's First Birthday!

Paige turned one in Arizona but we celebrated with friends and family a week later! We booked the church building and had pulled pork! And of course I made a few monster cakes! Gotta have our traditional first monster birthday theme!

We even had a pinata for the older kids!

Instead of presents we asked for money donations that we took to the children's hospital! It was wonderful! It was a great way to give back even a little for all the help we have recieved from them in the first year of her life and the many to follow!

This yellow one was her smash cake and it turned out perfect!! I definately feel like my monster cakes have come along way since the first one I made.

 The opening pinata hit!
She liked just sucking on the icing.
The kiddos! All making the Paige face!
OH man do we love you baby girl! Happy First Birthday!

Arizona

Dan and I took the opportunity to go to Arizona at the beginning of March. We had been planning it for about a year. Well worth it!
We went down for a holiday and to watch a Chase play baseball for his college team. PLOT TWIST; WE never actually saw him pitch. But we did watch his team play.

We took Paige with us because our trip was going to be over her first birthday and I did not want to miss it. She was the perfect baby. So easy going and chill. Slept lots in her carseat.

We stayed with Greg's Aunt and Uncle and did some touring around and shopping. Spent a few days in Tuscon where Chase was playing. He did something to his elbow the day before we arrived so we missed getting to see him play.

Paige turned one and we took her to Texas Roadhouse and she got to sit in the saddle and everything. It was pretty cute!

It was a fun week away and I see now why people go to Arizona in the winter. Its beautiful!

Birthday Catch Up!

WOW! I never thought i would fall off the bandwagon this bad! We've definately been busier though. thats for sure! But luckily winter is over and spring is starting to poke out and so we're only going to get busier!

We're in "birthday alley" right now as I have come to call it. Started in February and goes till August with a little break in June.

Max started us off turning 4 this year! He was pretty excited about that and is already saying "when I'm 5..." What a kid. We kept it simple for him and just invited The Prince family and both sets of Grandparents to go bowling and enjoy some cake! He had a blast and loved his cake. And I loved not having to clean up from a party! Winning all around.

His Birthday Breakfast request was French Toast and Bacon

After that Paige's Birthday Came up!
Dan, Paige and I got to celebrate that one down in Arizona! WAHOOO! More on that trip later!
We came home and that next weekend we had a birthday party for Paige! Monster themed of course! Last baby Monster party! Instead of having people bring presents we asked for them to donate that money to The Alberta Children's Hospital where we have spent much time and recieved many blessings from. We managed to Raise $320! Which we donated just this last weekend while we were up there and got some pictures!
