7

I swear just last week I was sitting down writing all the things that Sean has accomplished at six months. Here comes 7
We went and got immunizations today. He's not in the 97 percentile anymore. He's dropped to 85-90 percentile. Not bad. I'm thinking it is because he's gettin more active. That jolly jumper is helping haha.
Well he is 21 lbs. almost ready to be a front facing baby.

He's figured out how to clap. No all he time but sometimes

Still no forward crawling. Backwards and in a circle.

I can't brag about his awesome sleep anymore as we've hit the teething stage and he'll wake up and want food. He's a comfort eater:) he has also figured out how to roll over in his crib so that wakes him up too. Not so fun. We'll figure it out I'm sure. ( I even found him pulled up into a kneelin position in his crib the other day.... Ccrraapp!)

He is the happiest teething boy I know. A little clingy to mom though. Doesn't like me walking out of the room if he sees me leave. If he doesn't and there are other people around he is perfectly fine. Stinker.

He's such a stud. I love him so much! How he got this big is beyond me. Oh well.

White Elephant

We had a white elephant party on Monday and invited some friends and their kids over to party it up. We couldn't invite everyone because our house is a little tiny. Next time. It was a blast! Lots of good food and laughs! We didn't play any other games besides the white elephant one but what do you expect with kids from 1 month to 4 years running around?
We had a little gift exchange with the kids too. Though for theirs we just dropped them in the middle and let them take which one they wanted. I think they were happy. :)
The adult one was our "tacky" gift. It was good. Some good laughs. One present made a reaccurance. Those who came to last years party knew to expect it. It was the dreaded gift. And luckily the funniest!
Lots of fun and everyone was able to stay for the full time which was great!! Until next years!! :)
(If ya don't know what the gift is you'll just have to wait until next year!)

A tired brain

Well, kudos to you mom's out there that have a child that never sleep through the night.
I was blessed with a child that slept through the night right from birth he's been a great sleeper! A few things happened after he turned six months:
1. He hit a growth spurt
2. He got a cold
3. He started teething
What do all three of those have in common?
He wakes up through the night. Only once sometimes twice, and he's right to sleep after I feed him. So it's not horrible but it is exhausting.
Just last night for instance he woke up at 3:30 so I went in and fed and cuddled him. Then suddenly it was 4:30 and I was in my bed and Sean in his....
So either I put him to bed while I myself was sleeping or I am dreaming about this kid waking up at night. Wow!

Well lets hope this kid gets backing to sleeping before I start dreaming of diaper changes or something!

And of course pictures of this happy boy even when he's snotty and sick!

I love my little boy!!!

Cup of Cheese

Cup of Cheese :)
We made our last trip down south for the year! We went the longer route down because we sold our 2001 Honda CRV and bought a 2003 GMC Envoy. It was a tight trip to Edmonton but quite roomy down to Calgary for a night at Tony's and then on to Lethbridge, Raymond, and Magrath.
We went down for two weeks so Daniel could go hunting. It was quite a successful trip. He went out hunting with his brother Stephen and they both were able to get their bucks and does. So we have lots of meat once again for our freezer! Dan got pepperoni and jerky made as well. We don't have the jerky yet because it was saved until last minute. That's alright though.
We also spent lots of time playing many a card games and eating way to much food. (So much for my 30 day shred)
We had a pizza lunch on Remembrance Day at Stephen and janessa's played more games there. The best of that was when Bryan and Brittany where leaving Kesler was waving good bye and then turned and saw Sean on the floor and started yelling out the window," you forgot your baby!" He was quite relieved when Dan told him Sean was ours.

The last weekend we were there breanne went through the temple. It was amazing! I love being in the temple and love it even more being with my family there. Hopefully one day we all are there. That would be amazing. We had a huge lunch on Sunday and manages to get family pictures done. We were only missing one person who showed up later so hopefully I can photo shop him in we'll enough. :)
Driving back we went through Calgary and spent the night at Tony's and left the next morning for Edmonton to pick up dan's car and then went on to Lloyd.
It was a long drive. Especially from innisfree to home. Sean decided to cry an scream. Unless I was singing. Then he was happy. But it could only be two songs. Little silly nursery rhymes. Oh boy.
But we're home an had quite the adventure!

Half a year?!

Wow. I never could have believed how fast six months could actually go. Six months is from general conference to general conference. Easter to Halloween. Christmas to last day of school. May 15 to November 15.
My little guy is six months. I think the time went so fast because I wasn't watching it. I wasn't looking at the calendar to see how close the weekend was or the holiday coming up. I was just spending every day with my little man.
These last six months have been the best. I never thought I could love my family more than I did. But wow. The joy Sean is just makes life great!
I am human and I sometimes miss being able to walk out the door in five minutes, being on time for events, and wearing clothing not covered in spit and drool. So what if it takes me extra time to get out the door because I get distracted by making Sean laugh or letting him play with something that's caught his eye. So what if I am late everyone gets to take a look at a chunky baby who is all smiles. So what about the spit, I have a washer and dryer. He is worth everything!

Six months:
- sitting up so well
- smiles all the time! The silliest things make him laugh.
- loves his jolly jumper and spends hours in it
- grabbing at his toes and trying to eat them
- has started waving hi and bye
- reaching for me to get picked up or cuddled.
-turned into a little roly poly.
-so close to crawling
-loves eating real food.
Is just down right adorable!!!

Cuddly Halloween

Halloween is over! Woot! And as usual I came up with an amazing idea for costumes! Next year. ;)
Anyway this year I had a cuddly little monkey!
Cute little guy!!! We didn't go trick or treating or anything. Just hung out with the Low's! That was fun.

It's a new thing this cuddly kid. He's so on the go I figured something was bugging him and realized he hadn't pooped in a while! Yup. That's right constipated baby! Not to fun but I'm enjoying the cuddles and loves I'm getting from him. He's just cuddled up and fallen asleep on me. And I am loving it!! I never get enough Sean cuddles!

Well here's to hoping he poops soon so his tummy stops hurting!!! But keep cuddling me!!!!
