The Fyfe Life: July (The last two weeks)

July 14-17 Family Fun Camping
The second Annual camping trip! It's with a group of some of the great friends we've made here in Lethbridge and some other friends. Its just a great time! We went to Belly River again this year. It is such a pretty place! We got lucky because the weather had been super hot at this point in the year but we were luckily still allowed to have fires. Pretty sure it was the following weekend the fire bans started.
We set up camp that first day and then drove to Babb to have steak. It was alright but next time we go I definitely do not want to take my kids. It wasn't really kid friendly. And plus three kids are terrors anyway out in public. The Prince's and The Hollands came with us. So many cows on the side of the road! haha We got back after dinner and everyone else had arrived and set up camp so we visited and got kids to bed.
That next day it was a bit overcast and we left to go to Cameron in Waterton as it started raining. Got to Cameron and did a little bit of a hike before it started raining on us again. So we went into the townsite and ate our lunch by the splash park. I was surprised because the boys just played at the park. They didn't even want the splash park. It was a bit chilly. We were just getting ready to take a walk down by the water when it started raining again. So we went back to the campground and let the boys run wild. That weather just couldn't make up its mind and the rain just followed us around that day! This night we had a good fire with all the adults around visiting. NO KIDS! haha somehow they all magically go to bed decently one night.

Sunday we spent at the campground. Played some games and decided to be heathens and not go to church. It was still a very relaxing day. Last year we got a group shot but this year we forgot!!! HOW COULD WE! Oh well. Next year I guess. The guys went and jumped into the river. They are all crazy. It was just a bit too cold for me that day.

Monday we just cleaned and packed up and headed home. It was such a great weekend! Can't wait till next years trip!

July 22- Magrath Days
This year since I've been big into running I decided I was going to run in the Fun Run before Magrath Days. I even convinced my parents to do it and my friend Katie (who had to bail due to sick kids). It was fun. I was going to do the 10 K but it was already so hot I bailed and just did the 5 K but set a new PR for me. WIN!

Went to the Family Breakfast after and met up with all my boys. The boys were excited for the parade mostly because they knew they got to ride in the parade with Aunty Phoenix again. and with Emery and Wren. haha They all loved it! Evan napped through the whole parade at my parents. The parade was great as usual and Greg enjoyed hosing down the people on the floats! haha

Annual BBQ followed. Yummy food and good to visit with cousins and friends and family. We took the boys up afterwards to the school grounds where all the fun things happen. They got to spend some time in the bouncy houses and at the petting zoo but other than that there wasn't much for them to do which was a little disappointing. But they still had fun and we only lost Max for about 10 minutes. Darn kid left the park and ran to watch all the swimmers in the pool.

After Magrath Days the rest of the fun was had with Tycy and Her kids who stayed a few days longer so we could all play! We went to Waterton and to Wallys! Each a great place to spend the day!
Sean even got his wish and got to see a bear while at Waterton!
