My crazy lil tornado!

This boy of mine is just adorable! He's so full of energy! I just thought I'd share some pictures. We all know the real long post will come next week for his birthday!

Strutting his stuff. Loves running around in a diaper. Thanks heavens it's warming up!

Story time! If I'm doing something else where he grabs a books and follows me until I sit down and read the book 12 times. He loves mr brown can moo, do t tickle the duck, baby mine, playtime with sum a, Noah's ark A to Z and anything with animals and noises

He had to help with laundry. He emptied this basket. Climbed into it and then starting pulling the clothes back in. Crazy boy

The toy war path! Now that he has figured he can pull out toys by himself an throw them. They are constantly strewn around!!

More story time! Reading to me this time.

I love my little blonde dude!!

What a face!!! I get this face all the time!! Haha

I swear he just learned to crawl and now he's walking everywhere!! And bumping his head on eveything!!!

He even dragged his blanket all the way down from his room. Super cute!! I love his attachment to the blanket! Nothing extreme but just loves it for cuddles!!!

Home sweet Home

The post some of you have been looking forward too!

OUR NEW HOUSE!

I love this house. Even though I haven't hung up pictures, or that my dinning room table is still a mess I'm happy with it!

So Have a fun time walking through all the pictures! I'll narrate as we go.

Alright here is the outside. Pardon the snow. Mother Nature has decided if we actually get Spring yet.

As you walk in the front door. The Entrance is to the left and where I'm standing to take the picture.
The Bathroom is the door on the right (*I didn't take pictures of the bathroom because lets face it. They are boring. Ours have a toilet, shower tub and sink. how special)
Sean's room is on the right

Sean's room!!!! I love it! And that it's the only room I've hung pictures is. He loves those pictures. You can ask him, "Where's the baby?" And he points to those pictures!

Further down that hallway is our room which includes a full ensuite and his and her closets! Daniel's is boring but check out mine!

That's right. It's a walk in closet!!! woot!!!! Daniel's is just a normal closet. Bleh.

At the end of the hallway you reach our living room and kitchen and dining room.
How do you like the living room model? haha
My Kitchen. I love it. It's taken some getting used to because it is a bit smaller then my one in Lloyd. Oh well.
The view from our dining room. (I didn't take a picture of the dining room because it's got boxes and a table. woot woot

Alrighty. Lets mosey on downstairs.
TADA. What a lovely unspoiled basement eh? That door you see at the end walks out to the back yard! woot woot.
Here's another angle

There. it lets you see all the lovely stuff just stored down there.

Well there you have it. Our humble abode.
Okay... i didn't take a picture of the garage. but its filled with boxes too. and we do have a laundry room. but meh it just houses the washer and dryer and furnace. BORING.

So there you have it.
I hope you  enjoyed this tour of the house!
Come visit!

11 MONTHS!

I don't know if I'm ready to have a one year old. I only have 30 days to prepare myself. At least I know when to expect his birthday this time around. Last year at this time I had no idea when he would come. Sure they have your due date but it's just a guess.
I only have 30 days.
*cue deep breath*

I was talking to a friend the other day and we were talking about baby pictures and looking back on them and how it's kinda hard. It makes me miss his fat little cheeks, tummy, wrist, thighs, feet, hands, basically all his chub that doesn't exist anymore!
He's so on the go that he has just slimmed right down! He's a skinny lil boy now. (to me)

-He is trying so hard to walk. He is getting brave and will walk between couches or chairs all on his own. And he continually takes 3-5 steps by himself all the time. Then laughs, sits down, and crawls away. So one day he's just going to do it all on his own. I've known it for a while but at the same time somehow missed that he can stand up completely on his own without any assistance from anything. He's going to be so excited to have a front facing car seat!

- Says "da da da" all the time. One day he'll say ma ma ma. He does but just laughs after. Likes to call both me and Daniel "da da" He even says, "rampa"!  Not even kidding. The lil stinker.

-Getting better at playing on his own but still loves someone to play with. Mostly Mom since I'm the only one around.

- I think he really likes the carpet in our house because he'll just sprawl himself on the floor and lay their talking and playing all by himself. It's pretty cute!

-Is working pretty hard to be able to feed himself with a spoon and a fork. He eats with his hands but as soon as he sees us with utensils he wants them. Even cups. He'd rather have a cup and dump water all over himself then a sippy cup. I sense the independent stage coming on pretty soon.

-Loves food. Period. The end. I haven't found anything that this kid doesn't like. I mean the kid eats broccoli goes gaga over it. He'll eat peppers, carrots, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, peas, corn, all kinds of fruit. He's just a garbarator. Oh and he makes a mess all the time. It gets everywhere! I'll think I have cleaned him up well enough but then at night getting him ready for bed I'll find some of his morning snack still in his diaper that I have changed a million times throughout the day.

-Bath time. I have a fish. I am fairly certain of that. As soon as he hears the tub turn on in either bathroom he's all over it. He gets mad when Daniel shuts the door to have a shower because Sean wants in! I don't mind letting him bathe as much as he wants. But the consistent pooing in the tub... not so much. Basically every time we bath him.

-Loves being outdoors. He crawl to the front entrance and stand at the garage door just waiting to be let out. He gets mad when I haul him away. Now if I haul him away with his coat and shoes he's not to bad because he knows we're heading out! I'm glad summer is coming. I have a feeling this little boy is going to want to be outside all summer long! (which will happen!) Gotta introduce him to Waterton! and Camping again! He liked is last year as a baby baby. We'll see how he does this year!

-Bedtime and naptime have been super easy ever since we moved here and settled in this house! Before the unfamiliar places and lack of routine where driving this guy CRAZY! But now he's content to cuddle for a while and then lay in his crib by himself and fall asleep! It's wonderful!

- He still just has his two top teeth. The bottom ones look like they are working their way out.

- He is super happy all the time. And if he's not I've narrowed it down to a few things.
a) he's hungry
b)he's tired
c)he's mad he isn't outside
d)he doesn't get what he wants.
*in the case of "d" he throws a little baby tantrum. falls on the floor on his back and kicks his legs. Yup.

I can't think of to much else to say about my baby Sean. I love him more and more each day!

Stay tuned for next months. We are going to have some sweet pictures!

PICTURE TIME!

Stood him up and he had to walk right toward me

Lil poser!

Handsome baby!

adorable right?

Bathtime love!

I could kiss that face all day! And I do!

1st Sunday in Vulcan!

I know everyone is wondering how our first week in our new ward went.

It was good. Friendly faces all around. Super small though. I think we maybe, MAYBE have 80 people. And it's mostly older, retired kinda age. At least Sean will have a lot of "grandparents". haha The bishop loved him and took off with him for a while. Sean was cool with it too. Normally he doesn't like strangers.
Everyone would come up and say, "oh you must be the Fyfe's." Or " Are you the Fyfe Family?"
Gotta love a Small town. Oh and Everyone knows where we live and my phone number already. ahaha

And Dan has to speak in two weeks. :) how fun

I don't need to worry about a Nursery calling like I thought because their is one 3 year old and then Sean and a 9 month baby. So not enough kids yet for them to do Nursery. haha

They also run everything backwards. Dan and I were a little confused when we came in (they are meeting in another building right now while the church is being renovated) and sat down and there were 0 kids or teens. I started thinking... oh boy we're in a really old ward. Then they started doing Priesthood and Relief Society announcements. And then there was Sunday School. And then the Sacrament Meeting.
Makes church seem twice as long. Especially when you have a baby who is completely done with Church by the third hour so Sacrament is F-U-N!

I'm looking forward to getting to know more people and making some new friends and hopefully Sean having some buddies! There is a RS activity on Tuesday so I'll get to know more people there! YAY!

Found some American money and just loved it!
Talking/playing with his toys
Sunday smiles with mom
My boy and his swings!!! Oh and he loved the rocks too!

Vulcan: A New Adventure

Here we are! In the small town of Vulcan where everything closes by 5. Some things by 8. It's quite the change from Lloydminster.
We are settling in. I think Sean loves his new house. Or maybe just the fact that we are back in a routine and get to see Dad on a daily basis. He's settling in and has started sleeping all night long. YAY! He is also loving all the empty boxes around the house and crawling through them. He still doesn't like me leaving his sight though. To scared I'm going to disappear or leave him with someone. Still a little traumatized.
Daniel and I both love the new house and settling in. We've had to get a few things fixed but luckily all covered by the warranty on the house! awesome!
Haven't met any new friends or anything yet. We won't even meet our branch until next week because of Conference this weekend but our Bishop did stop by to say Hello and see if we needed anything and I found out I have a cousin who lives here in town. (shoulda figured that one being as we live in southern AB again).

Even with all these great things on the way I still miss Lloyd and all my wonderful friends there. And I probably always will. I'm grateful though that we had a chance to live there and meet all the wonderful people there. I wouldn't change that for anything.

I'll post pictures of the house soon. They are on my phone and some just aren't taken yet due to all the boxes still floating around. haha

Farewell House!

Crazy. It's so crazy.
We had our movers show up Wednesday and they spent all day packing and loading. Then they came this morning and left with my whole house packed up in the truck.
So Daniel and I cleaned and cleaned. And I mopped my floors for the last time.
It was bittersweet. I'm really going to miss my kitchen that we put so much time and effort into.
And I'm going to miss this room:
Sure I'll have another nursery in our new house but it won't be the same as this one.
We brought Sean home to this one. I painted and decorated it just for my little newborn boy. It's got special memories.
I'll always cherish this first home of ours. It's been great to us and great for us. I'm so thankful for this house of ours.
Handing the keys over was hard. But it's going to a good couple and it is going to be a great first home for them.
Goodbye my house!

The Cabin

Our Trip to Paradise! (In pictures of course! with maybe a bit of description)

We went to Kalispell, Montana for a week with some friends Tiffany and Graham and their little girl Sadie and we stayed in the best cabin in the whole wide world! I seriously love this place! You just drive up and your instantly relaxed. So thank you Tony and Sassa for the wonderful Cabin!

On to the trip.
We stopped at Costco, of course, for lunch (and later we went back and bought cheese :) ). The children got oogled over. I mean who wouldn't.. look at those toes!

We had to wander around and found Sadie her first car.

Once at the cabin all the walkways were covered in snow and so we let the boys have some exercise. :)

trying to get Sean to scowl.
Sean was pretty excited about the rain! Probably would have crawled and played out in it if I would have let him.

This child is pretty obessed with his blanket. And it has to be this one. Can't be another that feels the exact same. Has to be this one or I get grief throughout the night and the next. I'm sorry for washing your blanket!

Just watching Planet Earth after a rough morning

Our Cheese guardian. Seriously. NO ones getting that cheese
Famous Dave's Cornbread Muffins. Need I say more?

We went on a walk. it was Eventful. Stay tuned for the video at the end

Sadie stylin her mama's sunglasses

My little boy just wanting to walk!

Steep Hill+ice= find the video!

You can't get much cuter than this!

My lil nephew and the gun we gave him for his b-day. He's shooting Uncle 'Dam' :)
It was a blast! So fun and relaxing! And I have way to many pictures to upload them all!
this is the video of the Ice. :)

There is another one where he did actually make it to the top. NO harm came to them. Sadie slept through the whole thing. and Sean couldn't have cared less the silly boy.

AND! LOOK WHAT MY CHILD IS TRYING TO DO!
