Family Reunion

This year the Parker Family Reunion was held in Island Park Idaho. Great camp ground! lots of trees and shade!

We left the Saturday before the Reunion to break up the 8 hour drive for the boys. We were planning on driving half-way, camping for two days and then heading the rest of the way the Monday. We'll through a couple of glitches we ended up stopping Saturday night in the Walmart Parking lot of Helena, Mt. And it took us 8 hours to get there instead of 4. Yikes.
Daniel was pretty sick of the back of Greg's trailer let me tell you!

In the Walmart parking lot we met with quite a few of the Parker clan and ended up having a pre- reunion party. Exciting! It was some fun times despite being woken up by a street sweeper at 4AM!!!! rude!!!

Sunday morning we got up and went to church and then took off for Ennis where we camped at an RV campground with running water and showers! AWESOME!
We even checked out the hot springs in Norris. Sean and Max both loved them!
We even were so lucky at this camp ground to be woken up by a lawn mower at 6:45/7ish. FANTASTIC! who mows the lawn that early? I mean really.

Monday we headed out to our reunion. Once we got there I have to say I think we got the best site! shade all day long! nothing much happened Monday but setting up and everyone just showing up.
Tuesday thanks to Delbert we woke up to horns honking and chain saws. DIRT-BAG!!

Tuesday we all packed up and head to Yellowstone. It was a nice and hot day. Especially with all the added heat from the Geysers.
We got up to Old Faithful just in time to watch her explode! It was nice we didn't have to wait around. Then we had to go hunting down my parents because they had the food and the kids were hungry. By the time we found them there was about another 20 mins till Old Faithful was suppose to blow again so we hung around to see that. Sean did enjoy it.
After she blew again we walked around all the boardwalks around all the other geysers in the area all the way to "morning Glory..." I think. But we did get back in time for Old Faithful to blow one more time! WOW!  We went and got some icecream and as we were coming out there were all the crowds around her. We decided not to hang around again. So we left. Three times was enough in one day. haha. The boys were pretty wiped so we just drove straight back to camp.

6 months old!

Old Faithful

Grandpa also taught Sean to call these Geysers Pumba Farts.

Max slept the whole walk! We were both a sweaty mess when he woke up!

Wednesday we played the annual Parker Amazing Race and thank goodness this year we didn't have to drink/taste/ingest anything nasty! YAY!

We decided we also needed to take this day and go swimming and get rid of all the yucky sweat and filth that had accumulated on us. So we went down to the river!

Baby in a BOX!

Napping with Grandpa

All Clean!
One of the brothers brought their rope making stuff so we all got to spend some time making ropes. Daniel loved it.

The kids even had some fun. Boys vs Girls tug of war!

Thursday we went back to Yellowstone to this awesome swimming hole. Firehole Falls. Nice and warm and the kids loved it! Fun for all! Cliff jumping, rapid floating, swimming. Whatever! So nice! and no one got cold because it was nice and warm!

We also had the annual "Raffle" This year instead of quilts it was gift baskets donated by each sibling family. So Ours was a games basket with some Canadian paraphernalia in it as well.
It was fun! Daniel and I actually managed to win some baskets too! AWESOME! Mom bought the grandsons that were there little "light sabers". They sure had a blast.

Friday we packed up and headed out. We stopped at Holter Lake and camped there for the night. Made Daniel and Awesome birthday dinner and cake! (Happy 27th babe!) Then moved on Saturday for home. We were all so done and exhausted.
It was a very fun and long week! I'm done in for camping this year. We've been home for over a week now.. and we still need to clean out the camper.... oh boy.

Busy busy

We have been so super busy the last month I don't know if i have been at my house for more than 3 days at a time!

First off I was at YW's camp. That was a blast! First time bein back at YW's camp as a leader. And camp was a success I'd say. Lots of rain but we built us a nice rain Shelter out of tarps and we were set. We got to hike wall lake. So beautiful!! Maybe I'll do it again when the boys are older and I won't have to carry them.
We only stayed 2 nights. Which was more than enough with all the rain. We managed to go home dry though because of course it cleared up as we packed up. Haha

After that I had enough time at home to get things washed and packed again for a camping trip with the lows and hunspergers out in Glenwood. It was so much fun to be with everyone! Even if I went by myself. Dan had some lacrosse something or other so he missed out. He did get to pop out one night though.

It was such a blast!! We partied hard and boy was I wiped! Three days camping with the two boys... Yikes. I bailed on glenwood days to make it in time to Magrath days! I even caught the parade!!! I'm awesome like that!!

Emerys face was so worth it!!! He was so happy to be in the parade with shay and her float!!

Sean got a case of hives and so the Benadryl we have him knocked him out cold while he was watching ice age! The poor kid!

That while week after Magrath days was more partying! We saw Mary Poppins at the carriage house theatre in cardston went to the temple with Cassandra and Becky. Went to Cassandra's bridal shower helped decorate the gym for her wedding. And then finally August 1st came and we got to be there while he was sealed to Glenn for time and all eternity! It was a beautiful day!!!

Which reminds me... I still have to get her all the pictures I took.... I'm just a little behind in life right now!

July was such a crazy fun month!!! And August has been crazy as well! Stay tuned for my post on the Parker Family reunion!!!!

My boys

Even as exhausted as I am this morning I still love how much my boys love each other. Sean is always so happy to hear Max wake up and always wants to go running into his room and play. And Max just lights up with his brother! These two are best buds already!!!

Max is 5 months! And mobile!!!

My lil chubster just hit 5 months over the weekend. To celebrate that momentous day he rolled over from his back to tummy for the first time.

And now he's jut trying to move everywhere. He's got this really good scoot down on his back. He literally crawls on the back of his head. (Hence why there is no hair there.) he even tries to scoot on his tummy too but leaves his face and the floor and tries to plow. He's insane!
He started on the lightening McQueen book. 3 mins later he's by the toy shelf.

He is still trying to master rolling... Won't be long and I'll probably need that baby gate back up.

He loves and I mean LOVES sucking on his hands and his toes on occasion. His feet and tongue are his new found joy.

He coos and talks all the time. And laughs like nobodies business. Most giggly pants baby yet!! Especially when tired. Then he's just ridiculous.

I've given him a few tastes of real food, watermelon, yogurt. He likes his bottle for now. Once he gets that food though. He'll be an eating machine!

He's very find of watching Sean play. Getting to the point he can almost join in with Sean now. Sean loves it for the most part. Sean is so good with him and thy are going to be such buddies!!!

This little man of mine isn't so little anymore. Especially now that I've held my new little nephew. Max is getting big. And I love it so much and dislike it.

He's still sleeping through the night whih makes loving him super easy and fun. The few nights he does wake up make me realize I'm super lucky that both my kids value sleep. :) happy mom!!

Happy 5 months little chunk!

Choose your Love, Love your choice

That's him! That's who I chose and who I love more everyday!

The nervousness and excitement and anticipation. It was finally my wedding day! I remember hoping it would be everything I ever dreamed. It was and still is.

I remember one of the wedding cards that we opened a few days later said something like, "looking back you'll realize this was the day you loved each other the least."

Never in my mind four years ago could I imagine loving Dan more than I do today. He's the best choice I ever made and I'm so glad that we made it eternal. We have forever. No matter what life may bring we always have each other.

We've moved 4 times.
Owned 2 houses.
Have two kids
Owned 5 cars.
3 computers.
No pets.
Made many many friends.
And loved every minute.

He's mine and I love him for loving me.

4 years have gone by so fast yet it still feels like it was only yesterday that we walked into the Cardston Temple to be sealed for time and all eternity.

It was a wonderful day. And I'll continue to love every moment of every day with him.

I've been so blessed! Happy 4 years!
