What a week!

This last week has been .... Well a week. A very long and exhausting but still rewarding.
Last Sunday was a definately pregnancy night. Not much sleep happened. Which made Monday very tired and exhausting. Especially going to Lethbrige all day for a doctors appointment and shopping with my mom. I was so tired when Sean and I got home I felt sick. It was bad.

Dan came home from work and made dinner. :) and then at 7 he let me crawl into bed and sleep. I slept from 7-7:30 (with about 4 hour intervals to get up and pee). It was great and I even had the bed to myself all night. Tuesday I had so much energy again it was great.
So thanks to my WONDERFUL hubby for letting me sleep!

Then next greatness was Friday evening having friends come over and play games and visit! I've so missed the games nights we used to have in Lloyd all the time! It was great to visit with friends and play games and laugh! We had to teach them some new games but that's all part of the fun!!

The next wonderfulness is all thanks to my amazing sister Phoenix! She came out to my house Friday night and slept over so that Saturday she could babysit Sean for Dan and I! She even hung out with him in the morning so that I could shower by myself!!! :) we left her with Sean at 1:30 and dan and I went to lethbridge to a movie, shopping, dinner, and some "wrestling" match. It was great! Dan and I got to spend some quality time together and even met up with Donna and her family and got to visit! I so enjoyed that adult conversation!!!
We didn't get home until 11:00.
I'm so glad I had a sister willing to drop a Saturday day and evening to hang out with her nephew! It was such a wonderful recharge!!! Sean even had a blast! He kept asking for Aunty this morning!

I'm still super tired and exhausted but that's what you get being 35 weeks prego and not able to sleep well but I'm so greatful for the moments and people that just help ya recharge and face the next few days!!!

Life is great!!

34 Weeks!

Almost done almost done almost done!

That's what I keep telling myself! All the friends before me that were prego have had their kids so now I'm just baby crazy for mine!!!
I'm nesting like crazy but there's not really much to do now except pack the hospital bag and get this baby here! I'm sure other things will pop up to that I've forgotten.

Had my check up yesterday and all is looking good. Baby is right on track (though they said that with Sean and he was a big baby) so I'm guessing and feeling a big baby again.

All is good with me. BP is up a little from where it has been but is still in the good range for being prego. No worries. I'm starting to see Dr. Topping every week now until baby comes. So that we can keep a close eye on everything! So I'll just keep praying all keeps going great!!

I'm so ready to meet this lil man! But I guess I'll give home a few more weeks to bake. :)

New Years!!

For New Years the plan was suppose to be party with Stephen and Janessa, Cindy and Gerald, and Bill and Colleen. But then Stephen and Janessa just had to get sick. Sheesh! So we switched plans around a little and moved the party to Raymond.

We had finger food and a lot of it! We also had Stephen and Janessa's oldest 4 as well so Sean had some cousins to play with and he loved it! We eventually started into a game of Liar's dice. It was quite chaotic with all the kids playing too! Sean even jumped in.

Around 9 o clock Sean started becoming Mr. Cranky Pants. Which was fine with me as I hadn't slept the night before. So I took him over to G&G Stephen's to put him and myself to bed. :)
Sleeping in a King size bed is always a great way to ring in the New Year!

New Years we took our three oldest Nephews and Niece and my parents and Sisters and we went to Waterton to do some sledding.  No worries Prego didn't go down the hill. :(

Playing with Aunty!

Throwing snow

Sean loved all the snow until Papa tipped him outta his sled face first into the snow. (dirtbag!)
But all the kids had fun sledding. Even if they got wacked in the face by some branches/trees sticking outta the snow.

After they had their fill of sledding we Greg being the electrican he is had wire in the back of the truck which he hooked up to his truck and dragged some kids around on the sleds.

Then we went and had ourselves a weiner roast! Which is when you find out how frozen you actually are. haha No one was to bad. We had quiet a nice day in waterton with no wind. Which made it way more enjoyable!

The way home everyone slept! Glorious! I love me some Waterton! Next time though I wanna go sledding! :)

Christmas

This Christmas was amazing. Probably the best yet I think. But I say that every year!
It was fun this year having Sean older and a little more into just the wrapping paper (though he did love that).
He loved all the Christmas lights we saw and the trees people had up in their house. He didn't quite grasp the whole "Santa" thing. But then again I really didn't do anything to promote that. :)

Setting up the Christmas Tree

He quite liked the train we had under the tree even if it didn't work. It made noise so that's all that mattered to him!
(Had to post some of these.)

Christmas this year we kept fairly simple. We just stayed Home. :) Lovely.

Christmas Eve we chilled at our house and opened our Christmas Jammies. We're a whole family of Batman's now! haha Sean LOVES his. He zooms around in them all the time. Sean went to bed as normal and Daniel and I watched the Maze Runner.

Christmas Morning we woke up and snuggled in bed together for a while. Then I got up and made the dough for scones and Sean came to help. (That boy and my kitchen Aid. He loves it!)

Daniel was super excited (he's such a child at Heart) and got Sean all excited so the two of them went to town on Sean's stocking while I finished up the dough.

It doesn't show well but Sean got an Elmo book. He LOVES it!

Helping Daddy with his stocking!
Then of course we had to start opening gifts. Sean wasn't quite sure what to do at first. But figured it out pretty fast and had to help with Dad's and Mom's too!

First Present

Was actually more interested in what was in the wrapping then the wrapping itself.

Little Construction table

Dad with his new drill
OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Daniel got me the most beautiful Necklace EVER! :) I didn't take a picture of it. (sillly me) But it is lovely!  SPOILED!!!!

Sean with his new bath crayons!

LOVES THEM! can't take a bath/shower without them now!
After presents and a delicious breakfast of scones and buttermilk syrup we baked some sugar cookies and cleaned up.

Then we headed out to my Parents and got attacked by nerf guns which freaked Sean out. Especially when Dan went running up the stairs with an indian war cry! haha Sean evemtually calmed down and "shots" people. haha.
We got to be there when my Sister Breanne skyped home from her Mission in Austrailia! She looks wonderful and sounds wonderful! Crazy that she'll be home in 6 ish months.

Boxing Day is always the hectic day at my parents house. That's when Everybody shows up and we finish off the presents and play games and eat WAY to much food! We even threw in some gingerbread house making/decorating for all the grand kiddos. Sean loved the candy as did the rest of them. haha
It was a good crazy day as well. Sean was a little sick so a little crabby but he just cuddled into us and let us still play games which was nice!
It was sad we didn't have everyone on boxing day, Hopefully next year! But still a grand ole time!
