Four Month!

How can you not love this face? You just can't. He's adorable. :)
Four months!
It's insane! But we are loving every minute of it!
-He loves his exersaucer (thanks Graz!)
-Loves trees and staring at them
-Going on walks! (what will we do in the winter!)
-Has become quite a chatterbox. well at home anyway.
-Still sleeps all night long!
-has rolled over a couple of times now but nothing consistent.
-can sit up by himself for half a minute. can sit up for quite a while resting on his gut. . he doesn't like that though
-anything he can get with his hands goes promptly into the mouth. It's cute cause his still trying to figure out that coordination and will bash his nose or eyes.
-weighs 19lbs (give or take a couple of ounces!)
-can rotate almost in a complete circle when on his tummy.
-his back he can scoot quite a ways as well. When he realizes what he can do I'm toast.
That's my "little" 4 month old. Oh I love him to pieces. He's such a happy little man and so easy going. honestly the perfect child. :)

Keep growing little dude!

loves the swings!

this is the face we get when we wait to long to put him to bed. so cute!

working on sitting up by himself!

he's a keeper!

The Last Little Bit of Summer!

Well Summer has come to its close. Kids are back to school, trees are turning and the air is turning crisp.
But before we get to that tragic stuff I'll get to the fun stuff.
Friday August 20 we loaded up and headed out to go camping. We hadn't really booked any site or anything and I was kinda waffling on the whole idea with the fact we hadn't booked anything. So we took off and after checking out Dillberry and seeing it was full we went to Arm Lake where we had gone camping earlier this summer.
It was a nice weekend. It only rained on us the first night and Sean slept right threw it. Love my boy.
Next morning we went golfing and swimming and had a fire and played some games It was just relaxing. Sunday we packed up and headed back because I had a interview and meeting to get back for.
Sunday night we invited friends over and had a bonfire in our sweet awesome pit we made. It was loads of fun.
Monday we had our annual Branch Chili cook off. There were tons of Awesome Chili's. Our's almost won. . . they picked 4 and our's was #5. So close right? :P  They had a slip'n'slide, bounce house, kiddie pool, and games. It was awesome. I got out and about and played Ultimate Frisbee for the first time in 3 years. It was so much fun. I gotta do it again sometime soon it was so much fun. After we went over to Isackson's and had some pizza.

It was a good long weekend all together. It was a good way to wrap up summer!
Camping with Daddy!
He had his own chair for camping. He kinda loved it.
Walked him right to sleep!
Swimming with Daddy!
This boy loves his water!

Swimming just wore him right out!
I still do take pictures of us occasionally!
Daddy let him drive!!!!
Bonfire Party!
Sean's Ladies at the Chili cook off
Sadie got jealous and moved in closer.
What can I say my boy's a stud! :)
I guess all I have to say now is bring on Fall's Adventures!

I know you're all thinking this post is about Sean. But it's not. . (maybe i'll throw in some pictures later)
This one is about me. :)

15 weeks ago I was sent into the hospital to be induced with my little boy.
14 weeks ago I was taken back into the hospital because of Extremely high blood pressure.
9 weeks ago was my 6 week check up where they started taking me off meds. :)
And today I'm proud to say I am off the medication completely!

It's a good day!

Family, Birthday, Reunion, Camping, We have it all!

This last trip down south was pretty fun and I'll share it with you through the pictures I took.
Had a bonfire at Gerald and Cindy's

Bryan shared veggies from the garden with everyone.

bonfire at G&G Atwood's

Emery and Madison playing the piano

Sean and Wren just chilling
 Daniel's Birthday!

Black forest cake. His favorite!
Camping/Reunion!
The reunion this year was at Swan lake. About 30 mins from Echo Lake. It was a blast. Lots of laughs, games, butterflies and bees. We played the parker version of Amazing race. The most I can say about that is that I'm glad there was no dill pickle popsicles but they did come up with something worse!
We played in the lake on sea dos and tubeing. Lost some keys but no worries they were found! Sean got stung but we lived through that as well. I don't think he's too traumatized by it. It was loads of fun!

setting up the tents

these guys were everywhere!

Sean snoozing

visiting

games games games

cousin cuddles!
And now it's back to work and real life things. We're back in Lloydminster now and you can definitely feel Autumn in the air. Oh summer how I love you! Come again soon!

That's Right. . . he's only 3 months old!

Oh how summer is just flying by. We have done so much. I'll get to that post soon. Most important right now is my little boy is 3 months old! I feel like he should be so much older. Maybe that's because of all the comments I get on his size and how everyone thinks he's 6 months or older. But no it was only 3 months ago that he came into this world and Daniel and I couldn't love him more! :)

He is so precious! Still sleeps like a champ.. (I hope. Our camping adventure kinda put a damper on it) But he still does 8 hours at least. So I really can't complain. I just miss the 12 hours. .
He's 17 llbs last I checked (or very close to it)
He rolled over for the first time! Tummy to back! He did it twice in a row and hasn't done it since. Little stinker.
Loves his hands and putting them in his mouth. Or doing a fist pump when its bed time. haha
Loves to sit up and look around. Even stand. Time to get a jolly jumper or exersaucer or something.
Kicks himself around in a circle when he's on his back and even has gotten some motion when doing tummy time.
He giggles!!! and smiles! Oh how he just lights up when he smiles! It is so adorable!
He got his first bee sting while we were camping. So sad. But we survived!

I could go on and on about this little boy! I love watching him grow and love watching him play with his Dad! Those two boys of mine are SOOOO adorable! I love them!
3 months!

All babies need a bath in a sink. Look at those rolls!

Reno's & Painting

This blog has turned into just one massive story about our home and of course our "little" boy Sean.
But hey that is just what life happens to be right now! I'm sure you are all just dying to know what part of the house we have demolished and than restored. Just hold on. . . . .

 The Laundry/Bathroom!!!!!!!!!!!

We were sick of the laminate flooring that was falling apart, about people feeling like they were going to fall through the floor when they used the upstairs toilet and I hated the color.

So We brought Dani back up with us after our last trip down south. I got her to come to help me with painting the upstairs. . . well she ended up learning a little bit about tiling too. It was good for her! :) Here's what it looks like now:

Doesn't that tile look AMAZING????? We think so. There are still some touch up's I need to do with the paint and the sink still needs to get put it but other than that it is done! :)

WOOT WOOT! I'm starting to really love my house now!

So along with all this reno's that we did I painted upstairs!

with the help of Dan and Dani of course!
It was quite the week of adventures! We got it all accomplished which feels great and is in perfect timing with the last of our summer holidays!

Here's pictures from the rest of the week:

Quite captivated by the TV

He's so BIG!
Swimming!
He loved it!
Was so tired after he thought Aunty's chin would give him some food.
The new duck face!
