New Year!

Man. I never thought I would fall off the blogging band wagon. Yet here am slowly forgetting about this space. Maybe not forgetting so much as just not having the time I want. I need to dive back into it though. This is really the only space I write stuff down and what we've been doing.

Sean- Loving kindergarten! He is seriously thriving in school! Loves to be around kids his age and reading and having all the fun. I actually had to have him miss a day because of me being gone to Calgary and not being able to have anyone pick him up after school. He was so sad about missing school. Especially missing a Wednesday because those are the best days apparently.
He also is improving so much in Hockey. He loves the sport and I think loves spending time with his Dad and cousins every Thursday and Saturday. He's come so far from last year where he could barely skate at all and now its safe to say he's almost surpassed me.

Max- Wild and rambunctious as ever. This kids energy never slows! He is the sweetest and most gentle towards Paige. He loves his little sister! Struggles a bit with the little brother who wants to follow him around all the time. Had to take him back up to Calgary to the ENT to check out his ears. They are fluid filled and definitely need a new set of tubes. I'm excited for him. Hopefully he'll be able to hear me better and not ask me "WHAT?" so much. Its exhausting. He so badly wants to be as big as Sean and be in school and playing Hockey. He's got a bit before those happen so he's looking forward to Soccer. I gotta find more things to keep him busy. He jumps and climbs everything and I love to see him having fun and learning new things. Started Sunbeams this year and LOVES it. He likes to be with Sean in the primary room.

Evan- Sweetest cuddle bug. Starting to give me more of a run for my money though. he's just about three so go figure that out. he's thinking about potty training! So excited for less diapers around here. Poor third kid though. Mom doesn't have the time she used to have to potty train the others. He does well though with what we can do and his older brothers are more than willing to help him out. I thought he might struggle a bit with Max leaving him behind in Nursery but he has done well and it didn't even phase him. I think he likes the break from Max.

Paige- my baby is almost one!! I can't believe how this year has flown by! She is so close to crawling. Started to say mama, baba, and papa. has yet to say dada. loves to play peek a boo and to have all the attention on her. Though she is also good to be left alone and likes her space. All her doctors are impressed with how well she is doing and growing! She's proven a few of them wrong in what she can do. I love her strong willed spirit. It will continue to do her well as she grows! She has the best expressions and sweetest laugh. She lights up when Daddy walks into the room and sure has him wrapped around her little fingers.

We're busy and on the go a lot. Its been an adjustment getting a kid to school and kids to nap and keeping them all happy and the house clean. I've let the house slide though. Its definately dropped on my list of priorites. Which i'm fine with. I enjoy spending the time being with my kiddos. The kids have started doing more chores though too which helps save the house from being a war zone.

July!

July wasn't as crazy busy as it normally is.

We started the Month off with the Canada Day celebrations at Dan's parents house. The kids had a blast watching the Parade. It was nice to because it wasn't a million degrees out. and we didn't die of heat! The boys played with their cousins after the parade and we enjoyed a good BBQ. We had brought the dirtbike out so we let some kids ride it in the school field across the street!
After we went to Brad and Lindsey's and rode it some more and ate some more food. Good times all around.

For my Birthday this year I took the kids to the coaldale Splash park. It was a beautiful Day and the Hollands joined us! Dan surprised me just as I was getting ready to leave and brought with him a yummy chocolate cake! Then we ran to Magrath and got our trailer loaded and dropped the kids off with Aunty Phoenix and we ran to Payne lake to set up the camper and then we went to Twin Butte for some Delicious Mexican Food.

Then we met up with our kiddos at Payne Lake and spent the rest of the weekend camping with the Parker Clan. The boys had a blast being able to run where ever they wanted and play with some new faces. Paige got her first sunburn.
It was a fun weekend.

OUr Anniversary we ran out to Moxies in the evening. Always a good time.. White chocolate Brownie. YUM.
We snuck up To the Calgary Zoo as well. The boys loved all of it! It gets more fun every year the older they get!

They got to go bridge jumping for the first time. We've gone a couple of times since and they love it! Sean and Max. Evan not so much.

Took a day trip and went to Park Lake with a friend. Another good day spent.
We caught a gopher in our back yard eating all our lettuce. The boys thought it was a pet. But they didn't get to keep it.

A few parks and a lots of bike rides! I love that the two older boys are so good on their bikes! Evan while be a pro in no time. :)

We attempted to let the boys try mutton busting. Sean did it and fell off and got a mouth ful of dirt. He cried loud enough that Max was too scared to try. Maybe we'll have a better attempt next year.

Dan and I and the Griffiths ran in the Muddy Warrior Race in Cardston. It was so fun. and just proved how out of shape I am. But it was a blast and I really need to get back running! It was good for my Physical and Mental health.

Spent the rest of the Day at Magrath Days. Which is always a good time. We camped in our trailer at my parents house.

One of the nights in the trailer the Max and Evan got put to bed and they decided it was a good idea to dump water all over the trailer floor. OUr trailer was a swimming pool for a while. We turn off the water pump every time we leave them in there now.
