Thanksgiving 2016

This year we got to host Thanksgiving. It helped that we had a 22lb turkey we wanted to get rid of.
We had my family over and Dan's parents over on the Sunday. Everyone brought something to help out with the meal. It turned out pretty fantastic. The kids ran wild and we all got to visit or lounge around or play some games. Pretty fantastic and lots of food. Good times.

I didn't get any pictures. I was a little busy getting food ready and cleaned up. :)

Monday there was a dinner planned out at my grandparents but we woke up to a lot of snow and I didn't feel like driving in the first snow fall of the year.. to many idiots out. Sean saw all the snow and instantly started asking to go sledding. So we invited some friends and we made a party of it.

I had to send Dan and Sean to Walmart to buy some sleds so we would actually have some. While they were there Sean saw a man wearing a bandana and eye patch but not dressed up as a pirate or anything. Anyway Sean saw him and said Rrrrr Matie. Dan had to explain to him that he wasn't actually a pirate. Super funny.

Holland's and Yee's came to join us in the sledding fun. We just went in the school field across from us. It's perfect for kids. Especially Sean. He can go down on his own and carry his sled back up. WIN!

After Sledding we made some pizza and played Hand and Foot. It was a super fun day!

6months!

I promise we have been up to other things! I will get around to bloggin about all those events and all the fun we are having!

But this one is all about Evan. These months really need to slow down! I was cuddling my cousins little baby the other day and I actually kinda missed newborn snuggles.. not enough to think about getting pregnant anytime soon. haha I'll stick to other peoples babies right now.
Evan is 6 months old! He can roll over and does so anytime you lay him on his back. he rolls over and right onto his tummy. He's even trying to scoot. I'm not ready for another mobile baby. yikes.

He is sleeping alright. But is by far my worst sleeper. A few weeks ago he was up every 3 hours in the night. And now He's back to 6-8 hours wake and eat and then sleep. its not horrible. I'm soaking in the cuddles. he's so fat and squishy. hes the best cuddler!

I'm not sure on his weight but i'll get it next week when we go to his immunizations. He's fat. haha

He's starting to sit up. I love sitting him up and he gets all excited and flops over backwards his eyes nice and wide.

The best smiles. and laughs. For real. I could listen to them all day! I love it the most when his brothers are making him laugh. Heart melting moments.

He loves loves loves his jolly jumper. and jumping in general. I love when he's standing on my lap and reaches those fat chubby little hand and grabs my face. mmmmm fat baby fingers. of course he tried to eat me after but i'll take those kisses.

he's eating food. but still prefers me. wont take a bottle. I shoulda listened to Daniel and given him a bottle off and on from the beginning... oh well.

I couldnt just decide on a few pictures... they all looked so good. man I love him! He came sooner than we planned but I wouldn't change any of it and I'd add him just as quickly again and again to our family.

Just Summer Fun

All summer long we have taken off in the morning to a park and i've just let the boys run wild and free. They have loved it. A few times friends have joined us. We've even gone to the Splash park and we got to go to the Henderson Pool Opening.

So this blog post is mostly going to be pictures in no particular order.

Went on an awesome date night with the Hollands and the Powells to the Great Escape! We were so close to making it out. Next time.

The only downside at the Train Park is this pond. Gotta keep an eye on them.

Plotting Evil baby. I'm about 90% sure he filled his pants after this

Max is trying to help push the stroller now too.

It has been such a fun summer! I don't regret a single second of any of it. We've played and been outside all summer! It's been great. I'm ready for Fall and to slow down a bit. We're still going to be going to parks as long as we can. And lets face it. We're the crazies who go in the snow too!
