Yard Work Monday

Monday was a holiday but Daniel had to run into work in the morning. Which gave me time to get the house tidied up and the boys napping.

When he got back we started working on our front rock pile. It was retarted. It was just a bed of rocks that scatter its way into our lawn (with the help of Sean) and weeds grow and it just is gross.

So Daniel built a flower bed and we cleared out the majority of the rocks. Now we just need to fill it with some soil and start planting away. I might just plant a small garden in it.. :) Tomatoes, Peas.. who knows. :) I still have some brainstorming to do on that end. But our front yard looks amazing now! It will look AWESOME once it's planted and growing. (baby steps.)

Ideas on what to plant?

We also got to work in the backyard as well, clearing up the rock mess back there. Seriously. TONS OF ROCKS! yuck. Makes me hate mowing the lawn. It's better now that we're getting rid of them and letting the grass grow! It will look so much better!

We had to clear out some nests that birds were building under our deck. We had issues last year with birds and the nests under our deck. They wouldn't let us use our own backyard or deck!
Luckily we caught them before they laid the eggs.

Sean Turns TWO!

My little man is 2 years old! When I went and got him outta bed and started singing Happy Birthday he said "no mom. Stop!" Guess he's not the only one that doesn't want to grow up! But he was fine with my parents singing happy birthday to him via Facetime.

Candles in his panCAKE! :)

He loved it! After he blew them out he asked to do it again.
I didn't really want the stress of a party this year and I figured he's two he doesn't really understand birthdays yet so I decided we should take a family trip to the zoo! We did invite some friends but none of them could make it so it was just us. SO fun.

Penguins
The Penguins kinda freaked him out. seeing them swim so close but not being able to get him. Something freaked him out and he wanted me to hold him or stand close to Dad. He still did enjoy them though.

(Bufflo eat food. grass) He was very impressed by the buffalo watching this one eat. We even saw a baby muskox which he thought was fantastic!

BEARS
These baby bears were crazy! Running around, jumping on each other and splashing in the water. It was so entertaining. Sean loved it! We stayed here for well over a half hour just watching these cubs go to town!

It had been raining the day before and was a bit overcast the day we went which made it perfect! It wasn't too hot and there were hardly any people! Beauty!
Sean of course had to splash in the puddles.
And chase the geese that were every where.
Geese are kinda scary. Especially when they are close to the size of your kid and start following them or hissing. Evil birds.

Had to get some Icecream of course! Special Birthday Boy!

Playing at the park in the zoo.

It was such a fun day! Sean and Max both had fun. Max just chilling in the stroller and cooing away. The only area we didn't make it into was the dinosaur exhibit. Go figure. With this kid that loves dinos lately. Oh well. Next time!

After the zoo we ran over to Whitney and Colin's house and crashed on their Friday. Ate some pizza and let the kids play and visited with them. So fun. Daniel wanted to stop by His aunt and uncles newly done place but they weren't home. Next time.

It was such a fun day! Sean had a blast!

I baked him a cake on Saturday and of course Sean had to help out.

It turned out pretty fantastic if I say so myself.

The Circus just happened to come to town this weekend so I got us the tickets and we went to the show! It was raining inside the tent because of all the holes. It was a good show. A little nerve racking with the balance guy on the chairs. He almost slipped a couple of times. As he was climbing up Sean kept saying, "Don't fall. Don't Fall" super cute kid. He was worried during that performance. Everything else was good and the rain didn't affect to much.

A minion showed up and you could have your picture taken with him. I kinda just sneaked this one.
After the circus we made dinner and then FINALLY ate Sean's birthday cake. MORE CANDLES! haha this kid loved them. and his cake.

He loved blowing out the candles. Which we had to do twice as well. Hey He's two. It makes sense. :)

Mmmm. Good

Max Really wanted the cake

I mean really wanted it. He got some icing on his hand. Silly kid and just giggled.

Apparently we don't use forks anymore. We eat like dinosaurs or something.
It was such a fun weekend. I know I was completely exhausted and I'm still recovering from all the fun. What a way to celebrate being 2!

3 months already??

Man. They say time flies by. But it seems like it is super sonic speed this time around!
I am soaking up every minute I can with my kiddos but it's hard to believe it's been three months already being a Mother of two.

Too fast! But I love every minute with these kiddos.

Max
14lbs. He is actually starting to look like a chunker. Unless he is next to his cousin Mallory. Then he just looks like a string bean!

Sleeping 8-10 hours a night! Woot! What a champ! Love him! Took him a little longer to get there but I'm loving every minute of it! I remember just over a month ago when he was still sleeping at night with no real rhyme or reason and We were getting up with him at about 2 or 3 in the morning. Daniel was whinning about how this kid would never sleep through the night because he was only getting a bottle and not a boob. And that nursing made all the difference with the boys. He was convinced he would never get a full nights sleep again. haha Well now he does. What a lucky man. hahahaha

He's attempting to roll over now as well. He also has this bald spot on the back of his head that looks like a yamika (the jewish cap) thats from all the scooting he does on his back now and wiggling. Man is this kid a wiggler!

likes his car seat now and sleeps in it most the time when we drive anywhere. Thats pretty nice. This kid just loves to catnap anywhere really. On a walk in the stroller, when I carry him in the Ergo. But he really loves his naps in bed. Super happy baby when he wakes up!

giggles and laughs now too. And I finally caught some of it on video! not the deep gut laugh he's given us a few times but its' still cute none the less!

Sean:
My little boy is 2 on Friday! I still have a hard time wrapping my head around that. He's really the sweetest kid ever!
I love all the hugs and kisses he gives me freely. I love how he blows me kisses at night when I tuck him into bed. I love how he says Daddy's home when Daniel comes in the door and Sean goes running. I love how he just adores his little brother!
I love when he grabs my finger and says lets go! and runs with me. Oh his little chubby hand in mine. My favorite thing!

He is talking so much. Putting new words together all the time! He's actually turning into a human being! Opinionated and knows what he wants! I'll try to take some photos of him later! haha He's too busy to smile for me anymore! But heres what I have just from my phone and such.

LOVE THESE BOYS!!!
