The Fyfe Life: All About Dan

There was this one time I actually believed Hockey had an end. It was back before I met Dan. Then I met this wonderful man who loved hockey. He refereed it and was really good at it. While we were dating there were some weekends I didn't see much of him because of this sport Hockey. One day we were talking and I asked him when the hockey season ended. He told me "at the end of March". YAY. That was only two weeks away. Suddenly it was the middle of April. And Hockey was still going. by May I finally saw my finacee. :)

Dan had a good hockey season. He made it to Alberta Cup and got his Level three. Which means he can Referee the higher level games. He did well in AB cup. Not as well as he wanted to but he was still one of the top guys there. That makes me proud. We came home from AB cup and put the hockey stuff away. :)

oops. he just informed me that there is still one more week of a hockey camp in July. You wouldn't believe it but hockey seems to never really end.

Lacrosse. A new hobby that was found. A friend of his that he reffed hockey with told him to take a lacrosse clinic so that he could ref Lacrosse. So he went to the camp and learned lots and now is reffing Lacrosse about once a week. It would be more often but he is starting to work a lot of overtime at work too. He quite enjoys it and I've found its a sport I like to watch too even help out with once in a while. :)

Rugby. Another favorite Sport. And it has just began. He was going to be coaching the mini's right now but with the busy time at Viterra he hasn't been able to. Maybe when our kids start to be in sports.
Well rugby has started. He made it to a practice the other day and came home all sore and bruised. So when you see him covered in bruises know that it's not entirely me. :)

He normally plays flanker but today he was ~~a hooker~~. I mean the hooker. That's my man. (don't ask me cause I really don't know what the positions mean.)
